myLists Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
myLists is developed by morg, operated by Sameh Morgan. This policy explains how information is handled in myLists for iPhone and iPad, in support correspondence and on this website.
Your lists and items
myLists stores list names, item names, categories, quantities, units, notes, completion status and item order on your device. Records also have identifiers and creation dates. The app uses these details to display your checklists and maintain your reusable item library.
You do not need a morg account. The current app does not send your list records to a developer-operated server or provide automatic cross-device list syncing. morg cannot read your records unless you choose to send them to us.
Sharing and importing lists
When you use Share, myLists creates a file containing the list title and its items, including names, notes, categories, quantities, order and completion status. The file is JSON data in a myLists file format and is not separately encrypted by the app. Anyone with access to the file may be able to read it.
You choose the recipient, application or storage destination through the system share sheet. That service handles the shared file under its own policies. Imported lists create a local checklist copy; item category labels are carried with that checklist. Sharing is not live collaboration; changing your list does not automatically update a recipient’s copy.
Retention and deletion
Your lists and item library remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app and its data. Deleting a list removes its checklist entries; reusable items in the library are separate and may remain. Deleting a category does not necessarily delete its items. Manage lists, items and categories separately using the app’s controls.
To remove local app records, delete the app and its data through device storage settings rather than offloading it. Device backups may retain app data according to your settings and the provider’s policies. Shared or saved files are separate copies: delete them from the destinations you control, and contact recipients about copies they hold. morg cannot remotely erase records on your devices, backups or recipients’ storage.
Tracking, advertising and device access
The current app does not include advertising or third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone or Apple Health. Your list information is not sold or used for advertising. Choosing a sharing application may involve separate permissions and terms for that service.
Apple may process App Store, device backup and diagnostic information according to your settings and its policies. If you make an App Store purchase, Apple handles payment information; morg does not receive your card details. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include, such as your message, screenshots or a shared list. We use this information to respond and investigate your request. Check attachments before sending them and avoid including unnecessary personal information.
Email providers may store or process correspondence outside Australia. We retain support messages as needed to respond and resolve the matter, and for legal or record-keeping purposes where required. You can request access, correction or deletion of personal information you have sent us. We will respond and explain any information we need to retain.
This website
Cloudflare hosts the site and may process your IP address and request details to deliver and secure it. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. The site remembers your screenshot Light/Dark choice in browser local storage; the preference is not sent to morg and can be removed by clearing site data. The current site does not include advertising or third-party analytics scripts.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page when the app or its data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. App Store privacy disclosures and app permissions will reflect the version released.
